PatchPro does not collect your name, email, or any personally identifiable information. No account is required. Your data stays on your device.
What We Collect
PatchPro collects only what is necessary to generate your estimate:
- ZIP code and location — used to apply regional labor pricing and show a 7-day weather forecast. Never stored on our servers.
- Project answers — your responses during the estimate interview (repair type, dimensions, condition, etc.). Sent to our API to generate your estimate, then discarded. We do not retain these.
- Estimate history — stored locally on your device only. We cannot access it.
- Photos (Diagnose feature) — analyzed on-device and via our API. Photos are never stored or retained after analysis.
What We Do Not Collect
- No name, email, or contact information
- No account or login required
- No advertising identifiers or tracking
- No analytics or behavioral data
- No data sold to third parties — ever
How Your Data Is Used
Your ZIP code and project answers are sent to our API (hosted on Cloudflare) solely to generate your cost estimate using the Claude AI model by Anthropic. This data is not logged, stored, or used for any other purpose.
Third-Party Services
- Cloudflare — hosts our API proxy. Processes requests in transit but does not retain your data. Cloudflare Privacy Policy
- Anthropic — AI model used to generate estimates. Subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
- Apple StoreKit — handles all in-app purchases. PatchPro never sees your payment information.
- Open-Meteo — provides weather forecast data based on your ZIP code. No personal data is shared.
Data Storage
All estimate history is stored locally on your device using iOS standard storage. Uninstalling PatchPro removes all locally stored data. We have no access to data stored on your device.
Children's Privacy
PatchPro is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Continued use of PatchPro after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last updated.
